These sumi-e paintings are by the international and award
winning Carmel artist Casey Shannon. Casey creates original contemporary ink
paintings. She is inspired by the spirit of nature. Casey is currently the Director of the North American Branch of
ICCPS - International Chinese Calligraphy and Ink Painting Society. This is a
global society dedicated to the ancient art of sumi (ink).
These images will grace the walls of any home or office. They will infuse the area with the spirit of nature and delight the eyes of all. These paintings were inspired by the delicate spirit of the world that surrounds us. Ink and color were brushed on this paper with the intention of capturing essence.
