This is my 'First Brush' of the new year 2013. It is a custom in Japan to make your first brush on January 2nd. This sumi-e is called 'Lone Cypress in Carmel ~ Magical Journey'. It is created with Ink, Watercolor, and painted on Mulberry Paper.
