Opening February 17, 2012!

Toronto City Hall Art Exhibit

Art Exhibit
February 17 - 24 2012
Toronto City Hall

The ART for Cancer Foundation will be holding a special visual art exhibit from February 17 to 24, 2012 at Toronto City Hall Rotunda, with a special silent auction to take place on opening night Feb 17. The multi-media exhibit will help raise awareness of the power of the creative process as a healing force, as well as promote the ART for Cancer Foundation’s free creative programs for cancer patients.

The ART for Cancer Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization, committed to improving the quality of life of people living with cancer by providing an outlet for creative expression
through the arts, and by supporting research into the cause, control and cure of cancer.

Sometimes there just are no words to express how you are feeling when you’re living with cancer. Painting is a powerful way to let your hands do the talking for you.

This is my contribution to the exhibit. It was inspired by my daughter and her current fight against leukemia (AML). This artwork is dedicated to her and her courage. 60% of the proceeds from the sale of this work will be donated to the Art for Cancer Foundation.
