Robin Contemplating a Song

Robin Contemplating A Song Framed Print

Robin Contemplating a Song

Someone had to sing,
It was the little bird,
In the Spring tree.
~ Casey

This contemporary Sumi-e was inspired by all the beautiful Robins singing and dancing in the Oak Trees that surround my home. I am captivated by watching the wild birds and enjoy them very much as they play among the tree branches chasing each other. They flit from limb to limb in wild abandon. Birds are incredibly beautiful creatures and lovely to paint. There are many kinds of birds living here in Carmel Valley. This Spring the Robins seem to be everywhere with their song.

I have a wonderful new website where you can purchase my original Sumi-e as framed fine art reproductions at very resonable prices. You can finish your art print right on the website with a frame and mat of your choice and choose your glazing. It's very easy and so much fun to play with and choose your favorite. The materials and workmanship for each piece are of the finest quality available at an unbeatable price. Cards are also available.
