WHERE Exhale Unlimited (E.U.) Gallery 953 Chung King Road, Los Angeles, CA 90012
WHEN Saturday, January 12, 2013 | 7-10PM Show runs January 12 – February 10, 2013
#TwitterArtExhibit has moved into a new phase. The basic idea is an
exhibition where artists from around the world donate original postcard-sized art to an
exhibition where the proceeds of the sale of the art go to a
non-profit organization. Cards are sold for $35 USD.
The first two exhibits were organized by David Sandum (twitter profile: @DavidSandumArt) in 2010 in Norway for children's books in his home town library of Moss. And, in 2012, the Women's Crisis Center also in his home town.

This third exhibition will be taking place in Los Angeles,
CA. USA. Future #TwitterArtExhibits will be organized in various places around the world
with a target of two to three exhibitions a year.
A new website has been developed for the organization of the #TwitterArtExhibit http://twitterartexhibit.org. Here you can find the information about this new format and about the
L.A. exhibition which is for the benefit of under-served youth (18-25)
in L.A.’s Rampart District in the arts. Art Division LA The Exhibition is hosted at
Exhale Unlimited (E.U.) Gallery.
I have participated in all of these exhibits. They serve as a way for me to help others in the best way that I know how to do - through my art!
In their words, through their eyes, by their hands
by Art for Cancer
In February 2012, the ART for Cancer Foundation held a week long exhibit at
Toronto City Hall with the goal of continuing to raise awareness of the power of
the creative process as a healing force. I was honored to have my artwork and my
story displayed at this exhibit. The art exhibit was a wonderful kaleidoscope of
colour, texture, shapes, and images, each uniquely demonstrating the healing
power of art. Many participants shared their personal stories, which brought a
level of depth and meaning far beyond the aesthetics of the art.
There
were so many incredible stories of courage and hope that the one week exhibit
did not do them justice! This book is a collection of their stories- in their
own words, and their art – through their eyes and by their hands. My art and my
story are featured in this beautiful publication. Proceeds from the sale of this book will be
donated to and benefit the: Art for Cancer Foundation
'Beyond Calligraphy' is a superior site. It offers the reader a wealth of information. The site offers information on calligraphy events, calligraphy history, news, and other information. This site hosts a Japanese and Chinese calligraphy search as well (etymology). There are articles from guest artists and BC offers partnership with them. This is truly an inspiring website. The site has a very creative section called 'Inspire Others'. The purpose of this section is to get people more inspired about what they love, Asian Calligraphy and Sumi-e.
"Beyond Calligraphy' posted a very interesting article about me and my sumi-e artwork on October 30, 2012. The article is called 'Stroke of Luck - The Power of a Brush Stroke'.
